Ashri has delivered courses in Mathematics Economy, Financial Entrepreneurship, and Quantitative Methodology in TelU. She has research experience in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Quantitatively, her focus includes asset pricing, portfolio optimization, data science, and Bayesian machine learning. Qualitatively, using ethnography, she explores debt literacy, attitudes and behaviors in correspond to local socio-cultural structures.
Previously, she had worked as a Mechanical Engineer at PT Rekayasa Industri, managing bioethanol plant project in Indonesia, Brunei, and Japan (2005-2008). She then transitioned to Material Engineering with Total EP Indonesie in East Kalimantan District (2009-2010) and later served as a Socio-Economy Analyst for the Jakarta ERP Project with ITDP (2022-2023).
She is also actively involved in professional activities, including journal development for the MBA Business Review at ITB. She also serves as the Managing Editor for Applied Quantitative Analysis (AQA), E-ISSN: 2808-4934. As an Academic Writing Coach in Research Synergy Foundation, she supports faculty members and researchers across Indonesian universities (PNJ, UnMul, UNS, U. Pertamina, UPN, IAKN, Unisba) and LSPU in the Philippines, helping them refine their academic writing and research outputs.
She has received several notable academic awards, including bursaries for her bachelor degree at Mechanical Engineering ITB, a SBM ITB research scholarship for her master degree, a LPDP scholarship for her graduate studies at NUS, and a Ganesha Talent Award and PPMI scholarship by ITB for her Doctoral studies
In the future, she aims to explore gender and cultural issues related to financial behavior, driven by her belief that financial literacy and entrepreneurship are essential keys to achieving gender equity in Indonesia.
